Starting Over with Purpose: A New Season for Our School
There are moments in the life of a school when starting over is not a sign of failure, but an act of faith. It is a chance to pause, pray, reflect, and rebuild with greater clarity about who we are, whom we serve, and what God is calling us to become.
Our school is entering one of those seasons.
As we look ahead, we are making intentional changes that will help us become stronger, more focused, and better prepared to serve our students and families. This includes restructuring the way we operate, rebuilding our financial foundation, and moving toward a smaller student population so we can offer a more individualized and meaningful education for every child entrusted to our care.
This new direction is not simply about doing less. It is about doing what matters most with greater purpose.
A smaller school community allows us to know our students more deeply. It gives teachers more opportunities to understand each child’s strengths, challenges, learning styles, and spiritual growth. Our goal is not to be the biggest school, but to be a school where students are seen, supported, challenged, and loved.
We are also working to build up funds that will help provide stability for the future. Strong financial stewardship matters because it allows us to make wise decisions, support our teachers, maintain our programs, and plan responsibly. As we rebuild, we are committed to being thoughtful with our resources and faithful with the opportunities God provides.
At the heart of this renewal is our Christian identity. We want to be Christian not only in word, but also in action. That means our faith must be visible in the way we teach, lead, serve, forgive, encourage, and care for one another. It means creating a school culture where Christ’s love is reflected in daily choices, not just in chapel or classroom lessons.
As we move forward, we also want to strengthen our presence in the wider community. Our school should be known not only as a place of learning, but also as a place of service. We want our students to understand that faith calls us outward—to love our neighbors, support those in need, and contribute to the community around us.
Starting over can be humbling. It requires honesty, courage, patience, and trust. But it can also be beautiful. It gives us the opportunity to return to our mission, renew our commitments, and rebuild on a foundation of faith.
We are grateful for the families, staff, church members, supporters, and community partners who continue to walk with us. Together, we are moving into a new chapter—one shaped by prayer, stewardship, service, and a renewed commitment to individualized Christian education.
We believe God is still at work in our school.
And with faith, wisdom, and a willing spirit, we are ready to begin again.
